Love is Love

Love is Love. We all feel it at some point in our lives. There is no shame for that fuzzy feeling you get, and why should there be? We all have different characteristics that we see as beautiful. Some are attracted to muscles, others to skinny types. We may like pot bellies, people with long hair or others completely bald. You may be interested in some-one who has a completely different ethnic background or you may like the same gender. Each person is different and can’t control who they are attracted to. We’re human.

So why is there still this huge problem with the gay community?

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and you were told you couldn’t love the person you did? If heterosexual relationships were a sin. Would you refrain from it? Would you hide away and pretend to live a loving life with the gender the world said you had to? Would you really put yourself through misery to conform? I very much doubt it.

Love can’t be controlled. The gay community are proud and they should be. They’re the ones who are truly being themselves. Showing their love for one another not hiding behind fake masks. They know who they are.

With the awful tragedy in Orlando, I wanted to show my support. Not through a #hashtag on twitter or a rainbow profile picture on Facebook, but through creativity. I drew up this image below to provide some support for gay pride. I would love to make pin badges or patches from the image with profits going to gay pride. Let me know if you would be interested in these?
